I'm glad to read you're 'getting there' and enjoy the little things. Remember the novelty of being the new person at work tends to wear off quickly. I enjoyed "This oakleaf hydrangea immediately grabbed my attention, as I didn’t stop to pray." which is a very extraordinary statement (I'm not saying I would guess it was yours, but somehow that doesn't surprise me).
I loved the morning shots and the photo down the stairs that comes before them.
Thank you, Vincent. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos and my turn of phrase. It’s been so long since I’ve been “the new person” I’ve forgotten what it’s like. The introvert in me will be glad to just be another regular, soon.
Thanks! I have to keep reminding myself that I’m not going to do everything right on the very first try. I do tend to get a little frustrated for not just already knowing how to do things right away. Curse of the perfectionist in me!
Thank you so much, Hrish! I am really enjoying being able to walk away from my work space for actual breaks. Bonus too, more photo opportunities! I appreciate you.

I know change of work is not easy, takes a few months to learn everything...good luck!

Fantastic shots. I LOVE the staircase one. Very cinematic.
Thanks so much, Paul! So glad to hear! That one immediately became my favorite, too.
Lovely photos as always and bonus of going out for a walks in the break! Glad to hear you are settling in the new job

Glad things are settling for you Liza! The street photos are dreamy. There is something about empty streets that I like.
Thanks so much, Shital! I, too, love an empty street.
You go, girl! Things new become familiar, your photos convey a sense of place and time, documenting your journey.
Thanks, Paul! Feels like a start of a new timeline.
Wonderful! I’m glad it’s all working out for you.
“Like a viejita” - love it! 🤣
Thanks, Alicia!
